Out of these, approval has been given to create 295 posts in all three discoms, 2 posts in Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company Limited and three posts in Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited.

Prohibition of strike in electricity corporations

By a notification issued by the Home Department, Government of Rajasthan on July 22, 2022, all the services, offices and activities of the Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan and the companies under its control, have been declared an essential service from July 21, 2022 for the next 6 months. And strike in these services has been prohibited from July 21, 2022 for the next 6 months. In this regard, instructions have been given by the Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan to the Electricity Corporations to ensure compliance of the notification of the Home Department.
